VINCHIATURO is a town a short distance from Campobasso (12 km), far from Naples Airport 144 km, and the sea at 80 km. In the locality of Monteverde it is possible to observe the remains of one of the oldest churches in Molise. In the area there are shops, restaurants, hotels, farms and artisans. The town is closely tied to its popular traditions, so much so that every year it attracts a large influx of tourists on the occasion of the Carnival celebrations with the traditional appointment "La Pezza de Casce" (the shape of cheese), an ancient game that has been handed down for generations and which sees two opposing teams facing each other by rolling a large wheel of seasoned cheese through the streets of the town, up to the finish line.
