The Church of San Panfilo rises not too far from here, and it has been re-built in neo-classical style on medieval ruins around the half of the 19th century. At the entrance of the village, close to the old cattle track, the Shrine of Madonna della Strada preserves polychrome majolica bas-reliefs and a marvelous arcade dating back to the 14th century, as well as the two wooden statues of San Donato and San Panfilo. The prestigious "Ridolfi" Agricultural Technical Institute, an ancient and glorious school that formed professionally agricultural technician generations, is an important reference for the entire land. Concerning the gastronomic tradition, the "'ndorciolloni", a kind of thick pasta seasoned with mutton sauce, are one of the typical dishes of Scerni.
