Father Giovanni Boccardi was also born in the town, an internationally renowned astronomer to whom the astronomical observatory built on Monte Mauro is dedicated. Interesting to visit is the church of San Leonardo, of Romanesque origin. Of great historical interest is the Cantelmo palace. Very interesting from a naturalistic point of view is the park of Monte Mauro which is home to the only beech forest in the area. In the town all the amenities are present.
