SAN FELICE DEL MOLISE is a nice village standing on an isolated hill and dominating the surrounded area and just 40 minutes by the sea. San Felice del Molise together with the villages of Acquaviva Collecroce, Montemitro and Tavenna constitute the ethnic-linguistic minority of Croatian origin in Molise: waves of Croatian refugees by Venetian galleys, on the interest of the Republic of Venice and the Kingdom of Naples, landed in different periods and places on the Abruzzo and Molise coasts. The refugees, initially grouped and frowned upon, gradually created villages, reclaimed the land, ingratiated themselves with the local lords and obtained houses, territories and privileges, many adapted and assimilated the local language and customs, others jealously preserved their own identity and still guard their identity today, language and customs, as in San Felice del Molise, Montemitro and Acquaviva Collecroce. In the village there are grocery/food shops, bakery, café, bank, post office, pharmacy.
