Trivento is surrounded by a territory dotted with larch woods, oak groves and rock formations called morge, part of the Parco delle Morge Cenozoiche del Molise. The name refers to the geographical position of the village in Molise, exposed to winds from the east, south and north. The town of 4606 inhabitants is the reference center of all surrounding villages and town as there are many shops and services: shoes shop, grocery and food shop, supermarket, pharmacy, bank, petrol station, restaurant butcher, bar, schools and more.
