The village of LUPARA belongs to the municipality of Campobasso, in the province of Campobasso, region Molise, lies on a hill at 505 m above sea level, it's a welcoming place with typical alleys of a medieval village. In ancient times Lupara was more commonly called with the name of "LUPARIA", perhaps because it was ravaged by wolves, or by the abundance in its countryside of a grass so called and which managed, because it was poisonous, to keep these animals away.
