TRIVENTO is known for its long staircase called San Nicola with 365 steps that leads to the high part of the town and for the interesting Cathedral that has a crypt sort on an ancient altar dedicated to the goddess Diana, dating back to some centuries before Christ. The name refers to the geographical position of the village in Molise, exposed to winds from the east, south and north.
