ACQUAVIVA COLLECROCE is a small town of 641 inhabitants in the province of Campobasso, Molise region, between the Biferno and Trigno rivers surrounded by woodland, wheat fields, olive groves and vineyard, where most of the people speak, apart Italian, a Croatian dialect. Acquaviva is known for the cultivation of small, dark, zerniza figs, as well as fennel and white celery.
